This is the gift I finished last night for my SIL.

Merry Christmas everybody!

These are close ups of a painting and flower pressing I did earlier in the year. I sewed on the ARTCHIX fabric transfers and then pressed the flowers with my self invented pressing technique. When those two processes were finished I stretched my muslin onto my canvas stilts, then began my painting with scrylics and textured paint. I used some stone grit paint I bought at the local doll house store for the stones. So they really look and actually feel like stones too. Then I swirled in the sky. Last night I finally added the dropping or bleeding fussia for some pop out zing. Hope Marcia like the painting. It's pretty large 20x 26' "s. She said she wanted it last time she was at my house viewing my paintings. She is one of my only art fans in the family, so she gets well rewarded! I am actually gifting 3 family members with paintings this year for Christmas, something I have basically never done before.

Here are three fabric ATC cards

these are all done by hand mostly. My sewing machine quit while I was working on them so had to completely finish them by hand. My machine went to the shoppe today! Goinna have it nice and clean for the new year! I guess I abuse it some with all my paper and glues. They are much prettier and tactile in hand!!!

I made this heart for Jackie McColl!

This is the front of the heart I made for Jackie. I have made five of them now and have found the key to the best heart is tons of layering. I like em interesting pretty and heavy in the hand.
Now for the back...

I added these adorable 3d toys with gobs of modelling paste. I painted the edges with a brown stain and the top with white acrylic and then some sepia stickles. The edges are done in lace I bought from Terrie at Lost Art Creations. I got most of the little toys from a miniature doll house store here in Bedford NH! ! Even a teeny weeny cuppie doll which they no longer will be making I got the last one! The drum and xylophone are made of wood as are some of the other tiny toys! The Santa background is from a candy wrapper Pam McKenzie sent some chocolate to me inside of,and the gold leaf paper is from the inside wrapper of that very candy bar. The choir girls are from an angel book I got at the still good shed at the dump. Then the tri angels are Artchix! I used rub on candy canes and simply embedded them deeper into the modelling paste to make them look 3d as well. The sticker gingerbread men add a real holiday twist.

Don't you all just love the choo choo going around the edges? Maybe I over did it a little with that train but I just couldn't help myself!

Here you can also see the three tags I made and added with gold threads and bells! It jingles! I sure hope Jackie like Christmas!

A close up of some of the tags.

They are better in person!

Here is the front side of Jackie's heart. I needle felted that snowman by hand and then added beads all around the edges to make it extra pretty. Behind the snowman are layers of antique doilies an old friend sent to me. If Jackie looks closely she can see roses in the snow. I also added layers of snow flakes with crystal lacquer and special fine snow glitter then topped it all off with clusters of beads.

Here he is closer...

I am actually pleased with how it came out it's really better in hand too! Enjoy and Happy Holidays!

I made this for my friend Willow...

I did a Creepy Firday the 13th swap on a group called stampmajic and didn't realize Willow was playing until I got her coolio card. So I made this for her. Funny shows how far behind the holidays put me finishing it up on the 13th of Dec..Willows was an atc and mine is larger post card size so hope she likes it. I made it special for her because she has people who bother her in her apartment building, hope this keeps them out! LOL! You are not a crone to me Willow either but I thought that would be funny. Hugs, Sanna

My newest atc's

I know I have dead lines and projects due but I absolutely needed a break to paint so I took one.

Doing something of the top of my head is somehow more relaxing then anything else. Oh to be payed to play like this would be a dream come true!!! Here in this first atc which was a background given to me by a friend and then simply paint washed over. I call it "The Wise Man Cometh".

The rest of these particular atc's were inspired by a modern art book my mom picked up for me for free from a church garage sale type thingy noone bought it so they asked who might like it and my sweet mommy thought of me. she knows me so well!

So they are kind of modern pop art with a Sanna twist! Lol, ENJOY!

I finally painted a little and it felt great

There really is no expression on her face but she is happy because she is painting freely! So I called her bursting to Be Me! I absolutely love how she came out. I have been looking at an art book and was feeling so inspired, had to stop all my duties and due projects and just paint freely!

Some new fabric atcs and my heart for Cindy.

So here are 14 of my latest fabric atc's. Made em for my fab group and they were way overdo for some!!!! I love the talent ion that group of friends! It's such a tame site too. Never stress or meaness always gentle and kind like a seewing circle should be! This first one is titled
"Orange Sunshine"
next is"She Sews Madly"

Then "Travel with Love"
"The Wind Doth Blow"

Here's "Little Bird, Little Girl"
and "Laughter in Her Stars"

"Kittens Play"
"Honorable Woman"

"Halloween Drauma"
"Grumps in the Garden"

"Pink Confetti Moon" I ALWAYS LOVE PINK!

"Bearded Bird Man"
"Chain of Skulls"
"Asian Red"

Here are Cindys heart back and fronts. You can't really see all the work that went into them on a scan but it was a lot!

This front part has many Stars on it Like Johnny Dep and Sallie Jessica Parker and that cute guy from LA law I think plus a poodle dog and a nother ugly black dog just to be funny! I gussied em all up with stars and rosie cheeks and netting, gold leaf, crytal glitter bobbles, and all. I am not really a glam girl I don't think so this started out as diufficult but then soon became fun to see just how gaudy I could make it! The words are lamenated and hung with some string I bought from stampin up it's all sparkly. That was the hardest part threading that string through all the holes.

This is the back! I used modelling paste and acrylic black paint and then carved into it with a palet knife to give her a real lit up glam affect! Some tinselled mesh all around her and some nifty glam 60's B&W FLOWERS! The front was way more complicated and the back was more fun! All around I put

words like "The Little Black Dress" , "Glamor", "Trend","Prada". "Star", "Crystal" oh and I hung a real crytal direct;ly from the bottom as well as a nifty black gemed heart and a similar crown!
