Angel of Death

I rewrote this but basically took the quote from Billy Grahams book on angels
But it is a scripture I am sure! I'll go find it in the bible and post it here soon!
The large black part of the angel and the background are made textured with gladwrap, and flow release!
The the details of the girl and faces are painted in and lastly the stamped swirls with rubber stamps I had on hand. She kind of ressembles moi.

Wings of a dove...

Here is my Dove, originally since this was for the angel class I was going to make those wings be for an angel but as this piece revealed itself to me I saw more the Holy Spirit shining through. The Holy Spirit is both dynamic and allows us to be brave and be miraculous vessels for Gods purpose as well as His Spirit gives us rest and peace. Go gives me rest and peace through m art! Thank you God, and thank you for my angel class and the people there who inspire me as well!

PSALM 55: 6 SAYS, "I said "Oh that I had wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest-"

The trees are special, and throughout other parts of this canvas are three demensional elements made with wood icing! I bought that through Pam Carraiker, fgntastic stuff works better then modeling past.

This is an intuitive painting and I used many ideas I learned through Flora Bowlies online class. Well worth the monies spent! As you can see this painting has many sons thus many different light variables. Reflection came from many sources. Mostly though it's a reflection of my soul and how much I love the Lord God, and completely rely on Him for rest and peace.

This is the "Angel of Lost Buttons!

This is yet another angel from the excellent online class I am taking, his week was a mixed media angel. The teacher was Olivia and she used different things but similar outcomes. My angel is a lot different from her finished product soI would like to try again with a more sophisticated look. I am very pleased with my angel though. One of the facilitators does this angel talking called an atunement, and he talked about an angel named Chemiele and this was my interpretation of her. To me Chemiele sounds like fabric so I thought of finder of lost buttons.

Here you can see Chemiele on a wall with Caryl Hooblers works! I love this wall of art. Usuallay I have Natalie Brineys' work here but I take it down to photograph my own pieces and then put it right back on my wall of fame! Here you can see the angels 3d basket of buttons andf her real button Halo.

Here is a view looking down on Chemieles basket of buttons.

Just another view, I had these neat sewing instructions that came with something else I purchased whatever it was had been wrapped inside these instructions and I loved them and knew I would use them for future artwork. Angels angel angels!

Here you can see Chemieles' heart which I was not originally going to put on her but in the instructions it had the words heart applique so I knew it was meant to be. Olivia did a heart on her angel too but it said blessed!

Just another position showing more of my details on the background!

Here is a close up of CAhemiele and her heart and face! I love her! She's going to cost 250.99$ plus shipping if anyone wants to buy her!

My Chemiele is on a wooden box and this is the inside of the back with more cool pictures and instructions and mixed mediapapers some with texture too!

This is the left side of Chemieles' box. I love Chemiele so much I was going to keep her or charge 350.99 dollars but I just want to see if others will love her too!

Man Unfolding

See the nose hairs!LOL!

She is every woman! Scoulding the man for putting his physical above all else.

His tootsies!

His unfolding.
This painting is all about how we women have to keep those men in line, how they let their other parts think for them and how satirical it can often be. Being a mother of three males and seeing how men that I have known have been not so well behaved or self sacrificing, I am trying to teach my children and even husband to have a better perspective. To grow up to be kind and generous men God intended for them to become. like most great women that I know we are all trying to teach the men in our lives a better way. Hope Joni likes this painting her encouragement led me to create it fervently.
